Whether you haven't touched your instrument in years or you've been playing forever, BMF Boot Camps are your chance to experience the thrill of playing in a real band.
Joining a BMF boot camp is:
Learning how to rehearse, collaborate, and perform with a band
Meeting a community of music lovers and making new friends
Getting on stage for an unforgettable live performance
We've been offering about 20 adult camps annually for 14 years and we can say with absolute certainty that you'll be glad you took the leap!-
BMF offers 10-week adult rock band boot camps throughout the year, with around 20 camps running annually!
Each camp focuses on a specific artist, album, or theme. Past camps have celebrated everyone from The Ramones to Steely Dan, plus beginner-friendly options like our popular 101 Camp.*
Every camp includes:
Weekly 2½-hour rehearsals for 10 weeks
An experienced instructor to guide your band
A supportive, welcoming environment
A live performance at a local venue for friends, family, and the BMF community
By the final show, you'll have learned the songs, bonded with your bandmates, and experienced the thrill of performing live together.

Camps are pretty self-selecting.
For example, beginners don't tend to sign up for things like YES or STEELY DAN. And at the same time, seasoned players typically don't sign up for a RAMONES camp. Unless of course they love The Ramones, which is understandable!
No matter where you're starting, there's probably a camp with your name on it.
